I think so, but that's how I roll. Didn't scope my 44 mag. Now have a 1940 Winchester 30-30 with open sights also.

Dunno. With the short length and in magnum pistol chamberings, they make excellent, no fail brush guns.
That being said, red dots are great for this which need a rail. You can even go scout style with a forward optic or small magnification of say 2-3x.

I have a Win 94 in .357 with a millet peep on the back. Fast fast fast!

Looks a little unconventional to me. I have a Model 94 with William side mount.

I'm about to start looking at how to scope my model 99. I have one of the pre drilled ones from the late 40s early 50s. I have only shot is with regular sights. But maybe nice if it had a scope.
