Rain to the Central Coast (finally)

FYI to people heading up for the long weekend: rain is forecast for every day in the six day forecast--at least through Saturday. Cold, dreary, windy etc.

You're coming up on Thursday if I remember correctly. Let's give it a day and see how it shapes up. It's supposed to be heavier North of here, so it might not be a huge amount. If you can get in there you can probably whack a hog or two. Four hogs shot in C1 (3) this last weekend. Nothing monstrous and two of 'em were behind Lion's Head (nowhere I want to drag a hog out of).

Josh and I were 20 feet from a good hog but couldn't put a pecker on him on Friday. Saw three others and all of those were quite accessible on foot. If you don't mind getting wet you should do okay. Don't plan on going to Sudden if it is wet, though.

I was planning friday morning. Can't get off any earlier than that. I'll keep watching the weather but need to make the decision wed evening. After looking at the forecast, I figured Sudden ranch is out. Probably that valley out behind VTS as well.

The weatherguesser tonight on the local boob tube said 1/2 inch for Wednesday and "inches with low snow levels" for Friday into Saturday. Weather.com said rain Friday, showers Saturday and partly cloudy Sunday/Monday. If it were me I'd hold off a month or so.
