I think it is probably cheaper to buy the one on the maket designed for it, as the standard Wal Mart ratchets made my five year old chinese workers are crap, and a 70lb bow has more than that stress on the limb ends, where the ratchet would be.
Plus you have to engineer the bracket to attach the ratchet ends to the limbs.
I considered trying it, but good ratchets are about 2/3 of what the marketed ratchet bow press is, plus the bracket. And theirs is proven as if it didn't deserve to be on the market, the market would have eaten it by now.
I like the bowmaster. does everything I have ever wanted a portable press to do.
