I'm reading the Kali DFG's "Lifetime License Order Form."

It says,
"Beginning January 1, 2004 several changes to the lifetime license program will take effect.
-- the fees for lifetime licenses and additional privilege packages will increase as described below and will be subject to annual adjustment for the cost of living.
-- Beginning July 1, 2004, Wild Pig Tags will be sold individually for $15.75 each. Lifetime Licensees who purchase the Additional Big Game Privilege Package will continue to receive five wild pig tags annually."

BIG QUESTION as regards the statement re. the Lifetime Hunting License. What exactly does it mean, "...annual adjustment for the cost of living."
I wonder if it's another broken promise that a Lifetime License was a once-only cost and would never again be "increased" ?? On the surface this sounds like an annual assessment in the making.....

Would DFG understand it well enough to provide any knowledgeable answers ?? Has anyone heard about this ??

Cheers,

Carl

Carl,

It only means that anyone buying a lifetime license after 2004 will pay more than anyone who already bought one.

It is NOT an increase or additional charge for people who already have the license. You bought it, you own it. No further charges (except 2nd deer tag, antelope, elk, sheep, etc.).
