DFG counter hours reduced

The Department of Fish and Game is announcing the reduction of its Redding office license counter hours. Effective now, customers will be able to purchase licenses in Redding at 601 Locust St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Also the license counter hours at Eureka's 619 Second St. office will increase. The office will now close at 5 p.m., Monday through Friday instead of 4 p.m.
The change in hours is indefinite and customers are encouraged to purchase their 2003/2004 hunting and fishing license materials via mail. A copy of the hunter's license proving they have received a Hunter's Education Certificate must accompany any hunting license mail request. Customers may also utilize the web site to obtain current regulations, look for information on hunter education, search for license sales agents and to download the mail- order form.
