Reminder for Colorado Big Game

I'd like to say that the outlook is better than normal, but with the snow kill there's no telling how it's gonna be this year.

Well, if thats the case then just put in for PP and stay home this year......(said in my best sarcastic voice as to not upset the already uptight californians....)

Put in for PP for Bull Elk with a Cow tag as second choice. We should get drawn for Deer with the 6pts we have for the Unit we put in for, if not 2nd choice will do fine.
Can't wait until I am a Colorado resident, it will make it easier to draw with less points than now.

We've been looking at some property near Oak Creek at a place called Stagecoach. It is basically in between Steamboat and Vail. Close enough to skiing, but far enough away from the yuppies. I hunt Northwest Colorado so it is a good part of the state for us to move to. Nothing cast in stone yet, but my brother and sister in-law bought property there and his in-laws have lived in Steamboat for the last 30 years. A couple have things need to happen for us before we make the big move.
We also like the area near Grand Junction, not the city, we don't live in one now and don't plan on it in the future. Close to one like Grand Junction might be ok, not really a big city to start with.
We hunt between Rangley and Meeker, how about you?
