Report: Invasive species cost Great Lakes $200 million a year

WASHINGTON -- Invasive species hitching a ride into the Great Lakes on ocean-going ships cause $200 million in damages annually to commercial fishing, sport fishing, wildlife watching as well as power plants and other facilities that use the water, according to a study released Wednesday by the University of Notre Dame.
