RGS Fundraiser Fun Shoot Right on Target

Proceeds used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat

The Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will hold a Sporting Clay Fun Shoot at Deep River Sporting Clays, Sanford, NC on Saturday, December 6, 2008 beginning at 2 p.m.

According to Gary Storm, the entry fee for this 50-target event is $20, with a portion of the shooting fee going to the local chapter. "This is a great opportunity for upland bird hunters and other conservationist to learn more about the newly formed chapter and have fun doing it," Storm said.

Storm also reminded participants to bring eye and ear protection, as well as their own shotgun shells.
