Proceeds used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat

The Iowa Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) in cooperation with Gander Mountain and Scheels Sporting Goods will hold its 8th Annual Fun Shoot at the Izaak Walton League Club, Gilbert Road, Washburn, Iowa, on Sunday, June 22, 2008.

According to Larry Brown, the entry fee for this 50-target skeet event is $15. Shooting begins at noon with practice rounds available from 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top three shooters, with a random drawing for dozens of other selective gifts, including a grand prize that will give participants an opportunity to win two free tickets to the August 23 banquet.
