RGS to Hold Fundraiser in Bernville

Proceeds used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat

The Charles E. Bechtel Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will hold an outdoor fundraiser at the Reifsnyders Ag Center, 7180 Bernville Road, Bernville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 19, 2008, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

According to Luke Bollinger, the free program will include dog demonstrations and a question and answer session on bird dogs.

"This is a great opportunity for upland bird hunters and others to pick up some useful information on bird dogs as well as get acquainted with RGS and with our chapters grouse and woodcock restoration projects," Bollinger said.

Food will be available from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., as will sporting licenses which go on sale the day of the event.

As with all RGS events, proceeds from this event will be used to restore and protect grouse and woodcock habitat.
