Rifle scope

Hello, just bought an Ruger American 308. May I ask what is a good rifle scope for it? Will primarily be hunting Hogs, but may elevate to larger game.

Find a decent 2-10x. I like that for hogs. Zeiss, Steiner, Leica, Leupold, Vortex. I have a couple Nikon, but they’re out of the scope business now. The german ones are nice but pricey.

The Nikon lower cost, entry level scopes are excellent for the money.
As the saying goes, buy what you can afford.
