JUNE 3 ELK FOUNDATION BANQUET:

The Corona Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will have its annual fundraising banquet beginning 5 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at the Green River Golf Course, Corona.

We just had our RMEF banquet up here last weekend - as always, it was a blast. My father-in-law went for the first time and won a Burris scope and a Remingtom .270 rifle! These are always fun to attend and it is nice knowing what the money is used for.

I went to the Corona RMEF banquet a few years ago. Its a good one. Bring your visa card though.
