Great hogs! Use-enough-gun, you're not alone. I've had great success with 140gr triple shocks in my .270 short mag. Excellent hog medicine!

+1 on the barned MRX worked great for me this year, but so did the Remmington Coreloke years ago and a whole lot cheaper.

Couldn't agree with you more on the coreloks, prior to shooting the mandated copper, they were the only bullet I had used.

Copper's worked great on every pig I've shot, before and after the law. I'll keep shooting them here and anywhere else I hunt. I'm not alone, lots of Montukians love 'em too.

Outstanding pix, and great story..

Congrates on what looks like an awesome hunt!. Where's this ranch located? What city? The young man in that pic with that good looking woman with a brown pig looks familiar. Looks a guy who used to guide at Hogs Wild in Coalinga.

RNJ is out of Coalinga and you probably saw the young man at the other ranch a couple years ago, as the ranches aren't too far from each other. But then again you probably already knew that.
