Be aware of construction detours from May 28 into July.
Lee’s Summit, Mo. – Visitors to the James A. Reed Memorial Wildlife Area near Lee’s Summit may encounter some construction detours from May 28 into July. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will be improving and paving several roads on the area. Some access to lakes and trails could be closed for a short period of time while the road work is done. But most lakes and natural areas will be accessible. Signs will point out detours.
