Ruffed Grouse Society to sponsor Bird Dog Training Seminar near Jamestown


The Chautauqua County Bird Dog Association will conduct its 5th Annual Bird Dog Seminar on Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22, 2008 at its club grounds near Jamestown, New York beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration at 7:30 a.m.

Sponsored by the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) and presented by noted bird dog trainer Dave Molyneaux, this two-day seminar will provide all of the answers you've been searching for, while teaching you how to correct any problems or bad habits your bird dog may have developed. From problem dogs and complete beginners, the seminar will address every area of concern no matter what breed, age or hunting style.

According to, Mike Darr attendance is limited and participants are reminded that since this is a hands on event to bring all appropriate gear necessary for handling your dog in a training situation. Water will be available, and depending on the weather the grounds can be wet so please bring waterproof boots and rain gear.

Registration is $30 per day for CCBDA members and $40 a day for non members. A two-day package is available for $50 and $70 respectively.
