Rumor Has It Hogzilla Has been Arrowed in NorCal

Fresh off the press there's been a HUGE HOG takin with stick and string somewhere in Northern California. Word has it they broke a wench trying to hang it from a tree. Arrowslinger have you heard anything?

At press time, details were sketchy but a cool headed archer from JHO, managed to take this behemouth HOG at 18 yards this morning.

Yep, from what i hear, the pig hanging is as tall as the guy standing beside it....well, he's only 5'2", but still, it sounds like a decent hog.

Hey, AS, I am 5'7' and a half--I think you got two inches on me

Well, I just got home from our property up north and the hogs are out thick on the ranch! After several close calls, I was able to connect on my biggest hog to date. Arrow Slinger guessed his weight at 400 plus pounds

But, I would bet he was pushing 300. I was able to sneek into about 18 yards and put an arrow in him. I hit him a little far back, but managed to do a number on his liver.

This guy had been wallowing and had lots of mud on his thick coat. Although I have seen bigger hog's at chopper's, this guy was my biggest body boar...he would have been going on the wall but I wanted my first hog mount to have 3 inch cutters.
