Sacramento Safari Club Annual Dinner

Did anybody else go to the SSCI annual dinner last weekend in Sacramento?HeavyHorns and I went and the hunts and auction items went really cheap.Just another sign of the falling economy,a South African 10 day four guys and four animals and broker fees for four people went for less then 4k.Another Arizona Archery Coues(guided)and javelina hunt went for $900 bucks(value $3200)Diamond Outfitters.It was a great night out with the guys and some money was made for wildlife and the right to hunt.Just curious if anyone else was there....

I was there. I’m still kicking myself for not raising my hand on the 375 Kimber.

The trip I went on last year sold for $1500, but I noticed they took an impala off the list. It seemed like a lot of Outfitters/PHs are offering less animals on their hunts.

I know that I’m saving up for a hunt next year. Maybe a Stag Hunt? I hope I get those same prices next year!
