I have used roe in the delta. Not a huge fan. I read every year about guys using roe and beeing very succesful with it but I have not caught anything on it. My bait of choice is a grass shrimp ghost shrimp combo. Let you know how it goes Im heading out for the first time since march on saturday. Report to follow

Roe is best if used from Sherman Island on down the river. Shrimp, Eel and Shad are best above Sherman Island. Also don't forget about the new regs for Sturgeon starting January 1st. No snares, Barbless Hooks and new size restriction measured from the tip of the nose to the V in the tail 40" to 60". No Sturgeon over 68" is allowed to enter the boat for measuring.
