Here are a couple of shots of pigs we took right after the holidays. One nice female and two small males.

Enjoy.

Speck,

They were from the same group, we snuck up on them and were able to take all three.

It is private land just at the Fresno Co. and San Benito Co. border. I believe it is right at 15,000 acres. I have only been up there twice but we have taken pigs off both times. Not bad quail hunting either.

Although that isn't all we took that day...

Cool deal, Surfdawg!

Out of curiosity... what's the caliber on that BAR? Looks like fingers stuck in the ammo belt!

Speck,

7MM Mag. That poor coyote didn't give me a shot until he was about 15 yards away. Absolutely devastating round especially from that distance, but at least he didn't suffer.

What type of bullet did you use on the dog from your 7mm?

Surfdawg,

Very nice hogs lot's of color. On the east side of the valley I never see any except black and red and that's if I see any. I hit some public land today saw lot's of sign, but no pigs.

Seacow,

They are the Remington Premier Core-Lokt Ultras in 160 grain. We weren't planning on doing any varmint hunting, but early in the day the hunting was slow so we called in coyotes. Pigdream, this was the first time that I had gotten a shot at anything other than a blackie. I have seen one or two reds and spots down at Hogs Wild, but never got an opportunity.

John,

Great job those are some nice pigs. I took Pigdream to the spot we spoke of up at Pine Flat on Saturday and while we covered alot of land and saw a good amount of sign we just could not find the pigs. Good to see you have meat in the Ice Box. Brian
