Myself and two buddies got drawn for the Feb Javelina hunt on the San Carlos Indian Reservation. Anyone familiar with Unit 26A? I am not asking for a honey hole, just a good place to start looking for some pigs. Thanks for any help. Jim

I was out there in Jan with a group of guys from my archery club. Only one of us got a Javi. I don't remember what area we were in, but did see a lot of sign. They tend to move in groups. Look on sunny slopes in the mornings. They will lay in the sun to warm up.

Dave, Thanks for taking the time to type me back and thanks for the tips. I guess we will just beat feet and look for the freshest sign and check those sunny slopes as you suggested. If you happen to talk to any of your buddies that know the area please get back to me. Any info is helpfull. Thanks again, Jim
