Has anybody ever hunted this area before? It is up past Lake Cuchuma and seems to be quite a hike(10 mi or so), but looks like a nice area. I recently moved to Santa Barbara (Goleta) and I am looking for places with not a lot of drive time and don't mind hiking a long way in. It seems some of the roads up to Davy Brown are closed anyways with the reent rains.
Let me know what you think of this place or perhaps some of the places off paradise road. I just began reading the JHO forums and so far have found tons of good info reading the past topics. Looko forward to hearing from you.
