>There's quite a price difference between the Swarovski 60mm High Definition spotting scope and the regular Swarovski 60mm spotting scope. I know the Swarovski optics are the top of the line as I have the SLC 7x42 binos and feel they're the best money I've ever spent.

However, I'm not rich and wonder if the extra price of the High Definition spotting scope is worth it. I'd check both in a retail store but have found actually using optics in the field is the only way to actually tell the difference -- at least for me.

Has anyone actually had the experience of using both spotting scopes in the field and what do you think about the difference?
