Reno was worth the drive in the snow. Too much to see and do in one day. I saw a lot of cool looking mounts. Took some pictures with my phone. (They didn’t come out so well) Here are some leopard mounts.

Leopard with a bushpig. This is probably scary enough to make kids not touch it.

Leopard carrying up a warthog with a hyena trying to pull it down.

Leopard and a baboon fighting over half of an Impala. I guess this would be the best way to use an animal when you ruin the cape.

What was the cost to get in this year? Reno is much better then Vegas in my opinion. the Vegas show is a zoo and a hella big expense to see everything.

Much of the taxidermy at these shows is simply the best on earth. Not even a Museum will beat what is possible from these folks. I'll bet that Mike from Animal Artistry was the main display. He's the best on earth and he's based in Reno.

$105.00 a day and a membership for one year runs $50.00. Worth every penny I spent two days there and still felt I could have spent more time there to see everything. Cabalas had there grand opening that saturday and that was the icing on the cake. The Mzouri club cocktail party at the peppermill was great as well.

$130 at the door. The leopard with the bush pig is from Animal Artistry. My father has a couple of mounts done by them. They are defiantly one of the best in the US (if not the world).

I like the way pedestal mounts look. It seems like the ones made today show more of the shoulder and the animal looks more “realistic”. The rhino behind the counter was one of the coolest looking pedestal mounts I saw.

Free if ya know the right people. I usually get passes from outfitters I have hunted with in the past.

The taxidermy is awesome but there is some pretty bad stuff in some of the booths also.
