SCI Teams up to Sponsor the Shed Antler Record Book
10/15/07
Tucson, AZ - Safari Club International (SCI) has joined up with the North American Shed Antler Club to sponsor the third edition of their record book.
The record book is a true testament to healthy populations of elk, deer, moose and caribou throughout the North American continent. The previous edition had 2,163 records listed and 23 categories of antlered big game species.
The Shed Antler Club is a great way to get the hunters of tomorrow interested in antlered big game. They sponsor "Take a Kid Shed Hunting" programs around the country which combines outdoor recreation with an in depth education into the habits and habitats of the various big game species of North America.
"The shared interests of big game and youth involvement makes SCI proud to sponsor the new record book from the North American Shed Antler Club," said SCI President Dennis Anderson.
