Scope knowledge need

I have a Bushnell 50mm front not sure the back, But this last time out I had a difficult time getting he nickel, not sure if it was my eye or the scope? at times I would get the nickel but then it would Gray out totally. move my eye a bit it would come back. sound like a loose nut behind the scope our have some of you seen or heard of this also.
going to clean the lens with lens wipes and reset my eye relief see if that helps, but other than that I'm not the sharpest tool in the cabinet.

most likely eye relief..but i'd buy a better scope

eye relief...move ur eye closer or further from the scope tiill u get ur picture
