I have read in the F&G pamplets that in Imperial County night hunting is legal with just about any type of light as far as power source, wattage and cp. The one thing they say about scope mounted lights is that the light not be permanently mounted on the firearm or scope. What experience has anyone had with law enforcement with scope mounted lights? Does anyone know what they mean by permanent, or should I say, what their interpretation of permanent is ?
