Was out scouting a new area for hunting and came up on these two whitetail rack's(about 150 yards from each other)....I scored them and they come out just under a 170 and a 139 class...........
Can't tell if it was natural causes that killed them or poor hunting....

GREAT FIND THERE MY FRIEND. THAT TOP ONE IS A REAL BRUISER. I'LL BET YOUR HEART WAS PUMPING WHEN YOU FOUND THEM. I KNOW THAT YOU APPRECIATE THE SKULLS AS MUCH AS I DO.

sounds like poor hunting to me. they both look like they died about the same time, and since they where that close together. but you never know. on the other hand, the only thing you can do about it is give the skulls a home. i hate to see them go like that but if they die someone might as well get some use out of them. i love finding skulls just as much as sheds
congrads!

Someone asked me,if maybe these bruts were fighting and hurt each other badly enough to die....But no broken tines or such on these deer....
