September Photo Contest, "Toys"

Congrats to Ridn9High for last months contest. He has chosen a very creative and interesting topic for this month that we are calling "Toys". The object of this contest is to portray an interesting or detailed perspective of a Toy. You are free to set up the shot, and add interest in any way that you choose. A couple ideas that Mike shared were "a model corvette reflected in a mirror", or "action figures", etc. This contest will tap into your ability to create an interesting scene, and to capture it with the camera.

The contest will run until Sat, Sept 30th. After that time, we will take a week to vote, and the winner will be awarded prizes from Jesse.

I thought I was going to have to sit this week out, as I was on vacation at Gulf Shores, Alabama most of the month and most of my "grandkids" are high school age and above.

One Morning while walking along the beach in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, I ran across this toy sword that had been washed ashore during the night. There is always something new washed on the beaches, and I often wonder what stories go with these things....

Somewhere there is a disapointed youngster wondering where his toy is now ....

Well all I fell into work and hunting obligations and had no time for any pictures this month.
