I haven't ordered any yet myself or really know what's in the video.I hear from others it's great. The video was made by another shedhunter from the NASCH forums.Email Doug dtcoleman@cableone.net or call and talk to them Doug or Tammy about the video at (208)798-5546.

And another and no I've never seen these either.Go to to http://www.bentleycoben.com/ or call and ask Bently or Diane and ask about their videos at (306)656-4903.

Wow!!! I had no idea there were guided shed hunting trips. $250 isn't that bad for the quanity and quality of those sheds.

Only problem I see,is trying to get your horns back down here to the states.
Manitoba borders are tough on that stuff, they seem to be so lazy on the USA side of the border(they just don't want to deal with shedded horns)....
Maybe other borders are better...But I also know by mail is expencive too...
Sounds like fun though-Might try it.....

Just talked to Bently on the phone, its about a half days drive from me...........I have cousins up that way too,so I can hunt horns and visit, all in one shot...
Bently said its a ten hour day for $250.00(american).you get lunch and supper. The usually walk in two hour searches.............Averaging 40 to 50 horns per person....(for a days hunt)...
Dump your finds in the truck, head it out again..............
<
Sounds like a plan to me.........
Also said you are allowed four sets of shedds going through customs if you drive, but can get a import, export claim form and take as many as you want across.
If you fly,you can take all you want on the plane(some restrictions of course)...........Said this year has been super hot on finds........Whitetail,Mulie and Moose(once in awhile)....
<

Some giants being found too, coming out at 185 to 212 for a set(gross).....

If I'm not mistaken, thats up in Preditors country..........
<

PS: If driving, don't ( I repeat) don't come down through the Manitoba customs........They will turn you back with shedded horns....!!!!!!The US side really sucks on stuff like that!
I think they are just lazy............Don't want to deal with the paperwork.

40-50 sheds in a day. That is more than I have found all season!

OMG.That sounds pretty good darn value.Cheaper than a guided hunt with a rifle, and for shed nuts just as exciting.

Yep, I live only about 20 minutes from Bently Coben. I think they shed hunt all over the place though. He has a few guides working for him as well.

I often thought about guiding for shed hunting, but I've had mixed feelings about it.

$250 sounds like a great deal for a day of shed hunting with one of the best!

I watched the Mossback video, and liked it. I wish there was whitetail on it though. Bently has a good one, but it's from way back. Still lots of great finds on it though. There's another called "SheddHeads", and It was put out from a couple guys from BC a couple years ago. I always though about getting it, but never did.

I've got one in the works for next season, and I'm really excited to start working on it.
