We were finaly able to find some fresh antlers. My dad, a buddy and his wife and myself found a total of 9 antlers. There were two pairs. The 3-point pair that my dad and buddy found is a BIG one that would score about 117.

This is how I found my pair, they were only about 25' apart.

I also have trailtimer pics of the big 3-point

Nice pics, you are lucky to find a matching set so close together. Are all those muley sheds?

Here is the little shed I found this weekend, it looks like it's from a 1 1/2 year old buck. He should be a 10 point this year, another couple years and he will be a shooter.

My first shed of 03'

Wow nice sheds guys! Bucksnort, all those sheds look like they carry the same genetics. They all must be related.

BuckSnort, not only do you find some damned nice bone but the areas in the background of your pics looks very appealing ---and roaming nice country is one of the nice aspects of shed hunting. Are those California pics or Arizona? (Looks like California). I've already put the wife and my daughter on notice that our next trip to Phoenix I'm going to try the Kaibob for a day's worth of shed hunting or so. If I were to look in February would there be anything out there?

Thanks for the comments guys.

deershed,

I must have been tired when I posted the pics because I forgot to mention my friends little girl, she got to ride piggyback while her mom and dad looked for sheds.

Shag,

This is CA. It doesn't take long for the grass here to get to high for easy shed hunting. Feburary might be a little to early to find fresh ones but you should be able to find older ones, it's still fun.

coyotebandit,

Actually these are CA mule deer sheds, they are a hybrid of Muley and blacktail cross, but they are basically a scaled down version of mule deer.Nice shed you found

That one second from top sure looks like a whitetail rack. I've heard that whitetails have been seen in N. CA. Nice sheds.
