Shooting Scenery or Pigs; What are the best places near Butte County CA?

My dog and are are going to spend the turkey break hiking and hunting. Any tips on where to go for pigs plus beautiful nature? I figure if I don't shoot a pig, at least I'll have shot some awesome photos!

Anyone have any tips or stories to tell? 12hr drive max zip code is 95928.
