Shotgun sight. Scope? Eotech? need help

I have a superblack eagle 12g and I want to mount a scope for hog hunting. What does everyone use or recomend to use? It will be used with slugs and has a 26in barrel. Thx !!! :not-worthy:

What kind of slugs do you plan to use and is your barrel rifled?

I have a dedicated slug gun complete with rifled barrel, knox stock, Leopold scope with B square mounts.

I don't think you can mount a scope on a shotgun if it doesn't have a cantilever barrel. I believed there are rifled slug barrel available for a the SBE but the price is somewhere in the $500 range. For that price you could get a new mossberg or Remington shotgun plus an extra cantilever rifled slug barrel. Some of the cantilever barrels comes with a scope. The scope may be low quality but it works.

If your shotgun barrel has a ventilated rib on it, you can get a cantilever rail that will mount to it. It "attaches" to the rail without having to drill the rail. I used one to mount a holographic red dot sight to my shotgun. Check out tj general store.

The B-Square mounts attach to the receiver.
