I have been seeing these Sibir Optik spotting scopes from Russia on Ebay. They are compact with the internal mirrors similar to a bushnell and Leupold. A guy at the range had one and said that they would for looking at tagets and that was about it because of eye strain. I looked through it and they were pretty clear once you decided on your focal point. Like the guy said good for paper targets. It was real tough finding anything in the hills in the low power because there is almost no eye relief. You just about have to have your eye buried into the ocular. Guess I'll have to wait til kids are out of college in 15 years and buy a good swarovski.
