Sigh, it's almost gone. Tule elk

My dad's tule cow from the Owens in 2010. Have a couple packages left and it's gone. And he's about 8 yrs from another tag. Damn fine meat. Better eating than both the other subspecies I've eaten.

Never had tule elk. Seen loads of them at my old duck club on Grizzly Island, CA.
