I watched an old Larry Jones video where he and his buddies have these little pocket mirrors that they used to get each other's attention with. This seemed to be especially useful when one guy was hand signaling in the hunter on a stalk. It was a palm sized mirror with a little peep hole in it that you used to aim the reflection at your buddy. It was really slick. Anyone seen one of these and know where to get one?

Handy little items that can serve many purposes in the field. They sell them at REI. You can buy on-line too.

They are nice to have.
The one I bought at REI is not glass, which is nice b/cglass breaks......

Great way to annoy the heck out of a buddy who is trying to siesta.

Also, great for signalling the rescue chopper when you find yourself somewhere you no longer want to be.

That is what I believe they were originally designed for.
BTW, Do NOT practice aiming w/real aircraft!!!!
If an aircraft wags its tail, they have seen your signal and likely will call in your location.

I thought the aiming hole was for aiming at the deer to blind them so they don't see you sneaking in for a close shot

Will they fry ants and hoppers for when you're lost?
