Will silicon sealer react with hot glue?  If something is already hot glued in place is it safe to put silicon around / on top of it?  I don't want to have some chemical reaction take place making the parts a complete mess.

Thanks,
Todd

Just try it on a piece of plastic and see what happens. What the worst it can do.(Maybe burn down your house).

It doesn't seem to be a problem... so far.  It's been an hour on the one application.

Now if it was Super Glue.....

Guy in my office was telling me about getting some Super Glue on a towel in his workshop.  Started smoking a little.  I bet there was something on the towel it reacted with.

Don't use Loc-tite on plastic either.  Makes it very, very brittle.
