Silver inlay

Thinking about building a Pennsylvania long rifle, probably late Lancaster in .50 caliber with german silver hardware. The hardware inletting I'm comfortable with, but I'm thinking of doing some silver wire inlay n the stock and wrist/forearm area.

Anybody have any experience with inlay or can point me in the right direction to learn? I understand the theory, but reality is always different.

Yep. Saw that and that's a good start. I'm reading stuff on Americanlongrifles.org that's very informative, even some downloadable tutorials.

Joe Kesslar also has some downloadable material on the American Blade Smith website. I really like those, shows you how to make the stabbing chisels.
