Hi I am fairly new to southern California and I would appreciate information on where I can go hunting on BLM/Public land in Southern California. I understand that Orange COunty, CA is totally off limits. Anybody know where I can go to take a walk, bag 1/2 rabbits and call it a day?

Those Fed' links are funny. They never have all the information.
Basically, you need to do a map search for BLM land and cross check the County reg's for hunt limitations and access.
