I don't like hunting during the hot summer months, but the trail camera(s) said it was time! Although it's always great to kill a public land hog, doing so by yourself, with a legit 225-250 lb. sow, is just brutal! With the wind in my face, I got off my shortest shot ever, 12-14 yard slam dunk, but that was the only easy part of this hunt. Let the air out of her at about 7pm, finally laid down to sleep at 4:30am.
