So last night my 10 year old says...

"Dad, can I go elk hunting with you next week?"

OK, so there are times as a dad when your heart doesn't need to pump. That was one for me. We leave Tuesday afternoon and come back when successful, or by Saturday, which ever is first.

Get him out there with you ! I have taken my kids with me hunting both elk and deer since before they could walk. They are 20, 18, and 16 now and are hunting machines. My parents did the same with myself, brother, and sister. Good luck on your hunt this year and get him out there.

Hey Quinton!

I am the only hunter in my family, so it's all on me. My 15 year old has the bug, and now my 10 year old is starting. It's good stuff.
