SoCal turkey hunters don't forget your NF Adventure Pass. I almost did.

You'll need the pass to park or camp in the Cleveland. San Bernardino, Angeles and Los Padres National Forest land.

Tha pass is $30.00 at many stores like Turner's, Big 5 and NF offices.

I get the 2nd vehicle pass for an extra $5.00 and stick it to my back window since I always forget to hang the $30.00 rear view mirror pass.

Amen to that! Last year I saw more Rangers on Opening Day than the rest of the year.

If you can find someone at Big 5 who doesn't know better, they won't mark your pass, then it becomes a 1.5 year pass.

I was having fun in the snow a few weeks ago up at Frazier Park. A park ranger came by and put a NF pass citation on my window. So I drove all the way up the mountain , where the ski patrol has their cabin and paid it there. $5
