Took my youngest boy 14 out to fill his elk tag this last weekend. Weather gave us some wind and but nothing too bad. The elk were holding tight in the Mahoganies with little movement to be able to glass them up for a stalk so we just started checking the ridge's. Bumped into around six cows and a bull posing as trees in a stand and managed to get my boy a running shot as we pushed them out the other side around 150yds successfuly. He's filled his antelope now and cow this year with his mule still open. I'll probably wait tell the last weekend for that hunt so my knees can get a break.
