If anybody here has hunted the South Warner Wilderness in X3B I'd like to know if you had any trouble finding water. Should I be prepared to haul water in with me or should I just bring my filter? I've never been out there and don't know what to expect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hunted there the opener of rifle season about ten years ago. We had no trouble with water at that time of year. I was with three other guys and we packed in about four miles and when we got there, there were four more in our spike camp area. Overall it was a great trip, our group shot three bucks and there group shot three bucks. I was the fortunate one and shot a 30" California Buck in that zone. Good luck on your trip....Doug.

I hunted there a few years back... Water wasn't a huge deal to find but we camped at the base of a mountain around springs but I know a lot pack into there so water probably isn't an issue
