It’s a long-standing annual tradition for MDC to supply the official holiday tree displayed in front of the Governor’s mansion.
St. Peters, Mo. — After a state-wide call for nominations, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) has selected a Colorado spruce (Picea pungens) in St. Peters to be the official holiday tree at the Governor’s mansion in Missouri’s Capitol City. The tree will be cut Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 9 a.m.
