Before you start slamming me, this is just what I have for my 12 year old right now... a Ruger Mini-30. I'm trying to find 7.62x39 ammo that meets this ridiculous Condor safe requirement, so no lead.

Bosshog, I don't think it is legal to use steel core ammo to hunt big game if that is what you were thinking. Wild pigs are classified as big game, which the DFG states must be hunted only with softnosed or expanding bullets.
The copper bullets above are certified for use in the condor range.
plenty of non lead stuff out there. The barnes brand 7.62x39 are amazing. They will punch right in a big boar no problem. pricey but you can definitely notice the difference in recoil.
