First post in this forum... I'm in the market for a set to take with me while bowhunting. I have an old set of Bushnell 10X50's that are monsters. I want something smaller to hang of my Crooked Horn harness. I won't be looking at long ranges, just picking up an ear or a leg through the bush at under 100yards.

Any personal experiences with these? Cabela's has them for $189. Anything better with a similar price tag?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the info.

Why not get the Steiner Military Marine 8x30 binos for $10 more? They're waterproof. The Safaris you're looking at aren't waterproof.

Exactly the kind of info I'm looking for... Thanks for the help. 10 bucks is well worth H20 proof. The 8X30's are light too, only 17oz. That'll be nice for all day excursions. I'm now contemplating with going with the Predator's after reading about it's good qualities during lowlight. ???

I just purchased the Predator 8X30's. Should have them in a week. If anyone is interested about the binoc's I'll let you know how I like them.
