This old slave house is near me here in west central Missouri. As far as history, I know it was built near the turn of the century. The plantation home (all brick) was destroyed in a fire in the early to mid 70's. I have not dug up any info on what type of plantation it was. The old silo had a trolley that connected to a very large barn (also destroyed in the fire). Mules were lowered into the silo from the large holes in the side and walked on whatever the product was that was in the silo. I have been trying to get some clean shots of the plantation home and so far have been unsuccessful. I will post up the brick plantation rubble and the still standing silo as I get the shots.
