I wonder if he knows theres about three feet of snow underneath him. A little early to be starting this - but this guy put on quite a show for me today. Really snowy and cloudy out today - plus hes under some pines. Wish there was some more light. I hope he hangs around in the same area so I get get some real good ones..

Every pic I got of him had that one dam branch always in the way. guess it goes that way sometimes.

Nice pics again Dave, when you get your software try playing with levels on these. It's really hard to get a good exposure of a dark animal on a bright background like snow, but you can make an image look much better most of the time with a little levels adjustment.

I found this site last night, they have some great tips for photographing birds. You have to click on Bird Photography (on the left of the home page) and then click on Birds in Flight (also on the left).... and then check out the red dot sight the guy has mounted on top of his camera for in flight shots... Nice ones Dave. I didnt know that they strutted as a tom turkey does. Very cool.

Thanks guys - Paul I checked out that site - thats pretty neat using a red dot scope...
