Since your from Truckee,did you hear about a couple of monster bucks tagged in X-7 this season.My buddy in Sac said a warden came in the other day and said they validated two tags on bucks and one was just shy of 30 in. and the other was a toad also.The one was killed near Verdi close to the border.Any news up there?

The 2 bucks your referring to are nice. 2 good buddies of mine scored in x7b. The 4x was 30 wide and perfectly symetrical, and the other buck 26 wide was actually a 5x7. Both nice animals.

My friend and his son drew two FHL Bull Tule Elk tags for December. I will be accompanyng his son while my dad accompanies my friend. I'll let you Know how we do on our local Ivory Quest in December.
