What would you do if you came across this beast crossing Highway 1 on your Sunday drive?

I'm surprised that he stuck around and posed for the picture. He sure doesn't look to be in any hurry either. I'd pull ove and fire up my GPS, and look at the "On X-Maps" info for close huntable public lands.

Hell, who am I kidding, Highway 1 is well known for it's pig populations, and plenty of public lands to hunt, depending on where you are.

I shared the picture off of Facebook. Caption was Mendocino County near the town of Elk . On State Park property.

Yeah, no real surprise there. I forget the name off the top of my head, but there is a park with remote camping in Big Sur that has pig issues too.

Depends on how nice the car I'm driving is ;) My bro had that happen and scored a cow Elk! Greatly contributed to his food supply since he's dependent on fixed income (Not in CA)
